My first blog

Blogging : A fever which has gripped the world, with every Tom, Dick and now me , deciding to blog, writing down the most intimate details of our lives for others to comment on. Initially I was quite sceptical, curios why blog when it is nothing more than a diary which everybody can peek into. I guess curiosty got the better of me and I too joined the blogging frenzy. Cheers!! My fellow bloggers.

saga,
I'm smiling as I read your comments about the corn chowder involving too many steps for "your limited culinary skills." it's really not as hard as it looks. dicing is just cutting the onion and potatoes into small pieces. you don't have to use bacon if you don't eat meat, and the only other ingredients are the corn & cream. I know you have water, salt and pepper. see, it's not that hard. this corn chowder recipe is a good food stretching recipe, and I'll be posting different ones from time-to-time.

I have 2 children who've graduated college. my daughter finished with her masters 2 yrs ago, so I understand the budget part. now that they're grown, I'm in school working on my degree in business admin & I have a culinary degree & my cosmetologist license so I do understand the expenses.

I know it's a little hard for you right now, but continue to endure and persevere, and it will pay off.
